When I first entered the wedding industry, I was disheartened by what I saw. So many films felt over-edited, had poor audio quality, or just missed a true creative direction. It inspired me to take a different approach.
With a background in feature films, fashion editorials, and award-winning short documentaries, and international filmmaking, I knew there was a better way to tell these stories; one rooted in authenticity, reverence for your story, and culture.
I founded Hovey Films with one vision: to create refined luxury wedding films that feel like memory, not production. Each one is guided by cinematic storytelling and refined technical craft, built to honor not only how the day looked but the legacy that will arise from it.
Every film is treated as an heirloom. From thoughtful preparation to quiet presence on the day, and through the detailed work of editing, we approach each story with the same care we’d give our own family’s memories.
